Secondary applicant travelling overseas...does it affect SMC process..?

Hi
I have a question going in my mind..
my partner(sec applicant) in my smc application is travelling overseas for 3 weeks...

So do i need to tell that to my case officer(already assigned CO)..?
if yes, does it affect the application process?..i mean do they stop it until she comes back...?

Any experiences with that please reply.

yes, you should simply advise the case officer so they get no suprises if they are doing work on the file at the time.

NO it wont affect the application in any way at all.
