Default Residency Status shows approved: ITA Aug 2016

    Dear forum members,

Thank you so much for all your help and calm words throughout this journey. I am so glad to finally use these words, my status online shows APPROVED.

For everyone out there, you have heard and read it so many times, key is to not stress. I do know how stressful it is when you are awaiting such a big decision, where a lot depends on and it is beyond your control, but time frames are impossible to give and stressing about it will not change anything on your case. I have been through this for almost 7 months. As you can see below, from EOI to Decision, it is exactly in the time frame of all months.

    EOI selected: july 2016
    ITA: 15 aug 2016
    ITA lodged: 19 aug 2016
Allocation to CO: 20 jan 2017
    APPROVED: 07 Feb 2017
    Awaiting AIP Letter

    Congratulations Anu.

By the way, I submitted my ITA and all required documents last weekend. Will they charge the NZD3,085 resident visa and fees immidiately (i.e. upon receipt and review of the original documents I'd provided) or will these be charged only upon approval of the resident visa?

Shocks. I must settle my credit card then. Haha. Not enough credit to cover the visa fee.

Thanks Anu. Time to party and celebrate another milestone in your life!!!
