Furnished accomodation in Nelson / Richmond
My wife and I with our 3 children are relocating from South Africa to Nelson at the end of March 2017 and will be looking at a long term rental of a furnished apartment for approx. 12 to 18 months. My wife has accepted an anesthetic post at Nelson hospital. Any offers out there?

Your best bet is on trademe at the holiday homes; many aren't much more per day than house rentals. Very tight property market here right now! holidayhouses.co.nz
Testing the Water
Ours is still available from around end of April for 7 weeks, is you haven't sorted anything, yet.
