    Default Permanent residency

    I have got my resident visa last year when it approved online I left the job but it stamped later.Does it affect my Permanent residency? I will be very pleased if you answer me

    If there is no condition stating you need to stay with your employer, i don't think it will affect your permanent residency. As long as you did not violate any conditions on your resident visa, it will be fine.

    Thanks for your reply.There is no condition other than visa is invalid if holder is outside nz

    you have (had) an obligation to advise INZ of any change in circumstances (including changing jobs) up until the visa label is issued.,

    What visa were you on before your resident visa? Was it tied to your employer?
