Default Post Study Work Visa (Open vs Employer Assisted)

    Hi everyone,

I'm recently finish a level 8 course and I'm getting ready to apply for the Post Study Work Visa OPEN which is a one year work visa enabling me to work in any company and in any position linked to my studies.

I just want to confirm one information about the employer assisted.

Is it possible/legal to apply for the Post Study Work Visa EMPLOYER ASSISTED after I'm granted with the Post Study Work Visa OPEN? If yes, is there any limitation of time to do so?

If this is possible, so in theory, someone that completed a level 8 can have up to 3 years of Post Study Work Visa (1 year of Open + 2 years of Employer Assisted)?

    Thanks,

    Caio

When you apply for this visa, you must either:

apply no later than 3 months after your Student Visa expires (or 6 months if you were granted a visa to complete a doctorate)
hold a current ‘Post-Study Work Visa’.
