Your case will have to take its turn being worked in rotation with the CO's other 100 or so cases. It's not just the work done on any particular case itself that takes time - it's also the time when the case is waiting while it is the other cases' turn for the CO's attention. At the moment, you need to know that many cases, probably the majority, are taking 12 months to process from submission of EOI onwards. It's only realistic to think that yours may well be the same. Some people get a pleasant surprise and get through processing sooner, but it's not something that can be relied upon.
