Default Partnership Work Visa Processing Times

Hi all, great forum here guys!

Just a question about processing times. Does anybody know if it's taking a longer than usual at the moment? (i.e the estimated 25 working days?).

I handed my partnership application into Auckland Queen St branch on 31/01/17 and still haven't heard anything or even been assigned an Immigration Officer yet. I'm back in NZ on a tourist visa at the moment (after previously doing a WHV last year) and have a job offer waiting, could this push my application through quickly with help from my HR team or will it still be a waiting game?

Really frustrating when I'm ready to get going with my new job as I expected the visa to be processed now (25 working days have passed).

    Thank you

Hi Kimmy, yes partnership work visa handed in to Auckland Central. Called INZ but no information, just that it is in a queue with no estimation on when I will hear back. Are you waiting for the same visa?

From information available on the immigration site, interim visas are automatically generated when your application is accepted for processing (receive an application reference number) unless there was an exception with your application that requires manual intervention.

    See: http://onlineservices.immigration.go...nual/40695.htm

I have submitted mine yesterday at Manukau branch. Handed it with the lady. I'm still waiting for their email of my client number and if papers already processed. I'm hoping for the approval of yours
