Uber entered the on-demand food delivery space with UberEATS a service inside the Uber app along with a standalone UberEATS app that allows Uber users to order food from local restaurants. EATS at first only allowed customers choose from a fixed Instant Delivery menu containing only a few pre-prepared items.
