Yesterday we finally submitted my partners residency application!

    We included the following

-facebook posts with each other tagged in the same ones, Facebook posts photos, Instagram post photos.
    - call log, Skype messages, (From when we were apart), text messages and emails
    - all landlord letters, bond, tenancy agreements from the three different houses we lived in over the period of a year a 4 months we've been living together
    - all mail addressed to us together and separately at the houses we lived in
    - my name and his name on each others car insurance policies as "named drivers"
    - both our cars register on my toll road account
    - proof of a coffee table we bought together
    - proof of a kitten we have bought together
    - proof of a bed we have bought together
    - letters from current landlord explaining why we don't have bills sent to us (she pays for them herself)
    - Letters from friends and family
    - payslips from both of us showing we work and both earn money to contribute towards living together
    - joint bank account statements
    - bank statements highlighting flat payments, grocery, restaurants, gifts
    - communication between his mother and I
-communication between him and my mum

I figured that the more proof I provide the better my chances were of them not having to go back to me to ask for more- so I hope I covered everything haha!

Weve been to kaitaia, keri keri capereinga, tauranga, roturua, taupo, gisborne, napier, wellington, otorahanga, corromandel, raglan in the last one year. Plus i few places such as desert road ohakune bulls new plymouth for few hours.

I drove and showed we bought the car as well. All bills raised from joint bank account and accomodations (2) and oil bills provided. I dont know what else trips they would require lol.

Which reminds me i have to get wof and servicing.

Drove 20000+ around north island in the last one year. I hope inz finds me genuine. Lol

J and m was saying i should apply for residency like few of my friends. I didnt listen and then went ahead with work visa. My current runs out in july and police clearance runs out in may.

I hope atleast once i get visa in my life without hiccups. I feel so stupid now 😑

For residence I believe you need police clearance less than 6 months old at the time of lodgement. Even if it is technically "valid" for 2 years.
