Default Advert posting for essential skills work visa timeline??

    hi all,

can someone please tell me how long the advertisement should be posted in order to try to recruit NZ'ers.. I dont see a definite timeline for which the advert should be there anywhere.

anyone who done that and submitted as a proof have any idea on this?

it doesnt need advertisement only if your qualification can be proved.
can you please tell me how long the advertisement should be there as a proof?

Can you give me more information about that? I'm thinking of Essential Skills visa. Occupation is on the List of Skilled Occupations but not on Essential Skills on Demans Lists and it's level 1 ANZSCO. It seems like the ad is needed

Hello. My question is similar to this post, so I'm hoping the answers might help others viewing the thread. I was just offered a position (over $90k/year) with a district council. The council is not experienced in hiring people without a current visa. From everything I've read, my plan was to lodge an EOI for SMC residence and simultaneously lodge app for Essential Skills visa to hopefully start work sooner. The position was posted for quite a while on many web sites, so I'm not worried about that. I can't tell if it would be considered as on the LTSSL list. It's an ICT leader position supervising ICT Bus Analysts (which are on the LTSSL). Also, while I have more than enough work experience for the LTSSL, I don't have a degree that matches one of those listed on the LTSSL. Soooo, I am just trying to anticipate what I'll have to do for the ES work visa. My assumption is that the Employer Supplementary Form with the employer completing Section C is enough, and I won't need the LTSSL connection...am I making sense? Thank you!
