    Default visa dilemma

The situation is I have purchased property outright and am about to buy a business outright also, with my business partner sponsoring me.
I want to live in NZ permanantly.
    I am British.
After searching the immigration website, I have no idea what visa to apply for.
There are entrepreneur visas, there are work visas.....
My point collection is also beyond the requirement.
Please help, before I opt for a lawyer.
Thanks in advance to any help anyone can offer.

Nobody who isn't a Licensed Immigration Adviser or immigration lawyer is allowed by NZ law to tell you what you ought to do. https://www.enz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=51538

Do you WANT to be an employee? Do you have the necessary qualifications and work experience? In many cases, a job offer is necessary also.

Do you WANT to own and run a business? Do you have the necessary past history, business plan, and finance in place?

An LIA or lawyer can advise you, but it is up to each person to decide how s/he can best present their circumstances to fit INZ's requirements. The detailed regulations are there, publicly available. http://onlineservices.immigration.go...nual/index.htm

And I've just seen that I've given some answers on this before. https://www.enz.org/forum/showthread...ht=#post551742

Clearly your situation as described here and in previous posts is more complicated than you might understand. Possibly a case of "short term pain for long term gain."
I wouldn't go buying into a business where it might be better if you were an employee.

Now you've made 5 posts the PM system is available to you.

Thanks for the information, simply being allowed in via a sponsor is not the long term answer.
