Partnership residency

Hi all,

My partner and I lodged his residency application yesterday. We received an email from INZ saying "you will receive a letter by courier explaining the next steps for the application". Has anyone had experience with this or knows what it could say? I know it'll be here soon but it's making me worry a lot. Thanks!

One of the admin workers will go through your application & make sure all the necessary documents are there for the application to be allocated a Case Officer. You'll be sent back your passport via courier & you then have to wait to be allocated a Case Officer, which could be a couple of months.
