Unhappy Employer Conflict Under Skill Immgration Category

    Hello All,

My brother is in a bad situation in New Zealand.
If any one can help us that will be great.

    Here is the situation

He applied His immigration under new zaeland skilled immigration category.

After he applied and paid the immigration fees his employer charging money to support him.

As we do not have any other option due to employer specific work permit we have to pay money to show he is working their.

We paid $1500 NZD and taxes for 5 months while his file is in process.

After 6 months suddenly he is asking for 15000 NZD to support his application.

We are not able to afford that much of money so we request some time to arrange.

Meanwhile Immigration officer open his file and ask for supporting document.

But while we do not paid empolyer money he said to immigration officer that my brother is no longer working their.

At this time we are successfully get 1 week extention from immigration officer.

but officer asking for new job agreement and details.

My brother is on close workpermit and do not have job.
We already spend more money to get things done but nothing is going to work.

Please help us if you have better solution.

My brother stuck their without family and we are worried for him.

Thank you for your help and support.
    Thank you so much.
    Taral

    Hello Taral,

I am sorry about your brother.

I believe, you wont get the (positive) answer you are looking for. I mean, your brother will have to find a new job in order to make INZ continue to assess his application. Other wise, the application will be declined.
I am not sure of any other option of him as of now.

When boss started asking for money, he should have taken any step at that time...or he should have withdrawn his application
    But its tooo late now..
Better to find a new job asap to stay lawfully in NZ

I think, consult a lawyer. And tell INZ what has been happening. The employer has been SERIOUSLY breaking the law. Your brother can't get a visa through this job. INZ may give him time to find another skilled job with an honest employer, but either way, keeping quiet will do no good.
