Hi, does anyone have any idea if public sector in nz accept work visa holder or they will only hire residence visa or citizen ?

Wanted to apply some government job but never ever once receive resposed from them. I don't know is it because I'm not a residence ? Hence I'm wondering if anyone has any idea ? Thanks

I've just found their own website saying, 'You'll need to be a New Zealand citizen or have a permit or visa which qualifies you to work here.' https://www.govt.nz/browse/work/find...overnment-job/

Officially they never mention non residence cannot apply. However I've tried submitting significant amount of cv but receive no response. And I heard from my peers, the government will not take in anyone without residence visa. Hence, I'm asking if anyone in this forum if they have any luck or successful examples ?
