Default What will happen after SPC

    Hi everyone,

Just wondering what will happen after SPC?

Called the immigration call centre and they said it is waiting for final decision from CO. No further assessment is required.

It has been in this stage for over 1 week now.

Does anyone know what is this stage for and what will happen?

    Thanks

Do you mean you have been told your application was sent for 2pc, and THEN that it was back with the CO?

Yes, case was sent back to co and waiting for final decision, no further assessment. Told by the call centre. And it has been over 1 week now for this "final decision". So just do not know what is happening.

Every CO is dealing with around 100 cases in a rotating queue, so although your case has gone back to the CO, it may not yet have had its next turn for his/her attention. How long till that turn comes is uncertain, because it depends on the difficulty of work on the other cases that happens first.

Assuming that the CO originally recommended approval for you, then, if the 2pc official found nothing wrong with the working of the case, then the next thing will be for the CO to add your name to a list for clerks to alter your online status, and to another list for another department to send the AIP email with instructions for what to do next. Usually, it's the online status that changes first.

But remember, the helpline telephone answerers are just a human FAQ system working from what is on the computer. What they access depends in part on what keywords they put in, and even then, things may not be up to date with what is happening in the real world of the INZ office.

I know this isn't what you'd like to be told, but you won't be able to follow in detail exactly what is going on. However, it does sound as though you should hear something soooner rather than later.

    Hi eddie1021
I hope you get approval soon. I'm also working as same position as yours!! Can you please share your timeline? because I can't send you PM.

From post #2 above. This is good for every stage of INZ processing.

Everyone ALWAYS feels like that when being dealt with by INZ - it's entirely natural.
