Partner Visitor Visa
Hi all,
Im NZ Permanent Resident & i need to apply for visitor visa for my partner who is overseas.Could anybody advise, how much is the duration of the visa which is normally issued & does it have any start & end dates (expiry date). If yes,do she have to travel on that date or she can travel at anytime. Also the visa is multiple or single entry ?

I see from this old thread https://www.enz.org/forum/showthread...ht=#post546705 that you had then been quite recently married. In my answer on that thread, I mentioned about INZ's requirement for evidence that a couple have lived together for three months approximately, to recognize partnership.
There is still the same requirement even when applying for a partner-sponsored visitor's visa.
See this fact sheet. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...isa#conditions It looks as though the length of time can vary. They may grant what a person asks for, if there is no reason against that, or a lesser time - there is no 'normal'. Certainly, whatever is granted, if granted, it will have a last use date, and it will be for a limited time, after which the applicant must leave. If a person wants a multiple-entry visa, they need to ask for it.
