    Default Residence Permit: Dependent Arrival into NZ

    Hello everyone,

    Please help me understand if a dependent can arrive prior to the primary applicant on residence permit at the first arrival?

    Reason for this ask is my wife is the primary applicant and we have been granted residence permit for all the family.
    I would like to arrive to NZ couple of weeks earlier to find a place to settle and then would want my wife and kids to join.
