    Default Essential skills work visa questions

    Greetings to all, I am a beginner in this process, I am eligible for the essential skills work visa by means of the inmediate skills shortage list, my question is about the strategy to use, since I am also eligible for the SMC. In this case, I can apply to Essential and within NZ apply to the SMC after, because I notice that many apply to the SMC first and then to an Essential. Is there a problem in doing it this way or am I wrong?I'd love to hear your comments.
