Visitor visa applied from Sydney. Need inputs on processing time

Hi,
My mother has come to visit us to Australia for three months. We are planning to visit New Zealand in first week of July, as it's school holidays.
We applied online visitor visa on 7th June.
We got our her passport verified at Sydney immigration office and uploaded the receipt on the same day.
I called INZ today and they said CO was assigned on 13 June.
The application status shows submitted yet.

Can some one give me a idea of how long will the tourist visa take?
Will there be any status change in online like in progress?

@Shabana The only change I know in an online visit application is when they upload your visa or your decision letter =) No other words signifying it's being processed
