Default I want my spouse to join me in NZ.

    Hi folks

    Hope everyone is doing good.
I am holder of New Zealand resident visa, want to bring my wife here in New Zealand on visitor visa (from India).
We have been in relationship for almost two years and got married last month.
    Any guidelines.
    Your help will be appreciated.

Hello Raghav, Your wife can apply for visitor visa if you have proof of living together for 1-2 months with evidence that you support her financially. Once she applies for visitor visa with lots of proof of marriage pics and pics with family, if she is granted visitor visa she can come and join you in NZ and then collect evidence for 2-3 months and apply for work visa based on partnership.

Its just my opinion not immigration advice.

https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...s-visa-holders See the Criteria tab near the bottom of the page for what is required for a partner-sponsored visa. Notice, the requirements for proof of living together are the same for a partner-sponsored work visa or visitor's visa, and though no length of time is mentioned, we know from experience that INZ take applications seriously which have 2 - 3 months' evidence.

See old threads https://www.google.co.uk/#q=site:enz...tnership+proof for discussion and examples of evidence of partnership.
