She will be applying for a general visitor visa. (Dependent child visitor visas are for the dependent children of holders of NZ citizenship, residence, or a work visa.) https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...ndent-children
The form should be filled in by her as the principle applicant, though a parent may need to sign it stating the relationship.
Her application and the parent/grandparent one for the parents can be sent in at the same time, with a covering letter linking them.
No, she should not need a medical. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/46507.htm
The parents will be able to apply for another parent/grandparent visa after three years, yes, but it will be a new application and will have to meet all the requirements again at that time. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...y-visitor-visa

Your parents can get a visa based on Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa because they are your parents. This visa does not include siblings (your sister) so she has to apply for her own visitors visa.

Things to note: (this is worded towards your parents)
If you want to bring dependent children with you, they’ll need to apply for their own visas.

Hey @sameer456, others,
Would you know if the NZ authorities actually keep the passports for applicants for the entire processing period? When I did visitor visa for parents, the application was submitted online and they had to submit their passports to the authorised service centre / agent (TT Service NZ for India). Visitor visa is approved quite quickly, so that's not a problem - but given that Parent / Grandparent category visa has a stated waiting period of 5 months, do they really hold the passport for that long?

It seems that sometimes INZ spontaneously return real passports if you send them in (bear in mind you could send certified copies at the application stage). However, if you want them returned to you during processing, you can just ask - they are YOUR documents, and you're entitled to have them, so they will be promptly returned to you.

Thanks JandM for being helpful as always. Would certified copies work with a visitor visa (Parent / Grandparent is a special category visitor visa so I ask)? I know they worked when we filed our skilled migrant application.
