    Default ITA Lodgement August 2017

This thread is for those who have had ITA Lodged in August 2017. Lets keep in touch to see timeline related to get Case officer assigned

    EOI Applied July 5th
    ITA Received July 20th
    Application Sent August 2nd
Applicated Lodged August 15th (With date of lodge being August 3rd)
    Waiting for CO

Got email and payment deducted August 16th, told that it is with Manukau branch
As I am applying only for myself (not partners or children) I think I should get a case officer within 2 months.

    EOI 19th July
    EOI Selection 19 July
    ITA 21 July
Application sent 9th August (reached INZ on the 10th)
    Still waiting for payment deduction.................

My police certificate expires on 22nd August (6th month). Do you think I need to apply for a new one for this application?

As long as it's been lodged, this present certificate should be all right. INZ don't normally ask for a new certificate unless they have reason to think that a person's situation has changed (that goes for medicals as well).

I know for a fact the day they get your application - in this case the 10th - will count as the day of lodgement, even if they take a few more weeks to officially accept it. So you are all good!

    First sent - EOI -- 30 Jan 17
EOI - Removed points due to qualifications.
    Second EOI -- 5 June 17
    EOI Selected -- 7 June 17
    ITA received -- 6 July 17
    Application Sent to North Office
    Application Received -- 18 Aug 17
    Money deducted
Applying onshore in Auckland, currently hold a 5 year skilled visa, level 1

Current status online at (18 Sep 17) is "Thank you for your application for residence. You will shortly receive an acknowledgement letter with information on next steps."

Called the Auckland office about a week or two ago and they said we will be getting a letter soon, but it hasn't come ? also I asked when we would get our paperwork back, certs, passports, etc, they said once our application is final ? Reading up here most people seem to get their letters and paperwork back a couple weeks later ?

Anyone still waiting on theirs ?

It's only a month - 'soon' in INZ terms hasn't run out yet. Give it some time.

If you want your passport back when once INZ have it registered in the system, you can ask for it.

INZ are very busy at the moment. The changeover to the new regulations has meant there was a build-up of people waiting to send in their EOIs, and that has had a knock-on effect for other kinds of application.

You got a Case office assigned within a month, that’s pretty quick!
