    Default Relevant post-qualification work experience.

    Hi all,

I am really confused by this "a minimum of three years' relevant post-qualification work experience." set out in LTSSL.
read many thread here but I didn't got any clear answer or clarification on this.

I got a job in LTSSL, and now going to apply for residency under SMC.
I have 5 years of experience that is not in a comparable labour market, and I was self employed web developer in my own company.
How can i satisfy my CO on this ? If than what evidences i can provide ?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks a lot !!

For the work in a non-comparable labour market, it can't count for INZ unless certain specific circumstances apply. SM11.10 b, here. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/30570.htm

For your work on a self-employed basis, evidence can come from clients of what you did for them, and from other contractors you may have worked along with on particular projects.

    Thanks you JandM.
Also, i am not claiming points for work experience but i am meeting both the requirements set out at (a) and (b) in SM11.10.

    For SM11.10 b -
the principal applicant has current skilled employment in New Zealand or an offer of skilled employment in New Zealand
So i already have skilled employment in New Zealand (Web Developer)

I have developed 6-7 New Zealand's websites as well, so can i also show the evidences for these ?

Thank you so much for the clarification.

Yes, you can give evidence for these. Good luck.

    Hi JandM,

    Thanks for your reply,
Also, I have also applied for my international qualification assessment last week and i have already received my ITA.
Can i send my ITA application without IQA or should i have to wait for my IQA ? Or i can provide it later when CO asked for it ?
There is no information available on this.

    Thanks beforehand

Don't send your ITA without ALL the evidence. INZ can't accept incomplete submissions. The only exception is if someone gets prior permission, which can be given only in certain circumstances, for instance if the ITA is about to lapse, the missing evidence has to be provided by someone else, and the applicant shows proof to INZ that they have applied for it in good time, and therefore the delay is not their fault.
