Dependent child visa case

My uncle he got PR already 20 years above. He had more than 20 years not live in NZ. He sumbitted application form for apply Dependent child visa for his son (under 15 yrs old) on Jul2017.
He now just move back to NZ and just live in in NZ and waiting his son PR.

His wife live in own country yet and not live in NZ yet cause his wife still have job in her own country. Now only my uncle live in NZ and he wants wait his son PR come then his son will go to NZ live together.

He onshore

My uncle provided to IMMI mainly document:
-Form
-Medical report
-He bought house before few yrs, house document
-My uncle wife : lawyer letter to prove their son follow my uncle live in NZ.
-Housing tax
-Family photos
-Some his son school on his own country info,,,,,

Application submit on end of Jul
Early of Aug payment deducted

Now still waiting , waiting and waiting nothing from IMMI , no matter CO name or ,,, NOTHING

Anyone had apply Dependent Child experience PR , How long to be wait and is it now very difficult to get approve on this kind of visa? And IMMI is it need to prove My uncle MUST be live in NZ. When he sumbitt application and he live in NZ .

F5.10.30 Evidence of parent’s New Zealand citizenship or residence class visa

Evidence that a parent is a New Zealand citizen may include but is not limited to original or certified copies of:
New Zealand passport; or
a New Zealand birth certificate issued prior to 1 January 2006; or
a New Zealand birth certificate issued on or after 1 January 2006 that positively indicates New Zealand citizenship; or
a certificate of New Zealand citizenship; or
a confirmation of New Zealand citizenship by descent certificate issued under the Citizenship Act 1977; or
an evidentiary certificate issued under the Citizenship Act 1977 confirming New Zealand citizenship.
Evidence that a parent is a New Zealand resident is:
a current New Zealand residence class visa in their passport or certificate of identity; or
evidence the parent is deemed to hold a New Zealand residence class visa.

Evidence must be provided of actual residence in New Zealand. Evidence may include but is not limited to original or certified copies of:

correspondence addressed to the applicant
employment references
rates demands
income tax returns
mortgage documents
documents showing that household effects have been moved to New Zealand.

You might expect 3-9 months.

In this case I suspect INZ, with a sponsor absent for 20 years , would want strong evidecne as below:

"Evidence must be provided of actual residence in New Zealand. Evidence may include but is not limited to original or certified copies of:

correspondence addressed to the applicant
employment references
rates demands
income tax returns
mortgage documents
documents showing that household effects have been moved to New Zealand."

SO is it mean my uncle case still not yet process ？

Aug early application deducted
Till now nothing feedback .No CO .. NOTHING？

Is it mean this application not yet start for processing？

You can't tell. A CO doesn't always announce themself when a case is allocated to them.

But look around on the forum - waiting is a normal state when an application has been put in. INZ are dealing with hundreds of thousands of cases. There are queues for every part of the system.

I had heard before actually child can apply PR in own country. One of PR parent only need apply dependent child in own country. I dont know when change of application need sumbitt in NZ in PR person MUST live in.NZ. AND not allow apply in own country.

Dependent child need apply in NZ n not allow apply in own country.

If like before client at least can stay in own country to apply n wait in own country of dependent child visa approve then can back to NZ.


Now even stay n back to NZ on one of PR parent . Waiting n waiting。

Planning child back to NZ even is PR that is sooooo difficult now ？Is it right？
