Online Status after Blue Stickers??

Hello Guys,
Got a quick question.,does the current/active visa changes to Resident Visa after Blue stickers has been issued on the online status portal (onshore SMC application after job search)?

I think it does, *sometime *, but it won't be immediately enough to let you know exactly when it has happened.

The online status changes sometimes, and sometimes not.

I was meaning, at some time or other, it does change, because the person's status becomes that of a resident and the online record needs to show that. But it is not closely co-ordinated with the time when the sticker goes into the passport. Therefore, someone waiting and watching their online status hopefully to know the minute when it happens, can't.
