Student visa sponsership for sister

Hello everyone,

I am planning to sponser my sister for studies in NZ. I am NZ resident. I dont have a job at the moment but i have 40000$ in my bank account to support her for studies. My father cant support her application as he closed down his business and he doesnt have any source of income to support my sisters application. So I am planning to sponser her for studies. Can I sponser her even if I dont have a job with certain amount of money?

Anyone who have faced similar aituation please share their experience.

That is the official word. U3.20.30 seems to show the amount required. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/43653.htm I don't know how they would go about investigating whether you can spare all that for her, and won't need it yourself.

Thank you jand. I think if i get a job then I can sponser my sister. This wat INZ can see that i am working and i can afford to sponser my sister.
