I sent ITA document through courier from India. As per the courier tracking system my documents are reached INZ on Jan 08, 2018 08:19 am SIGNED BY: JENNA VAKACITINI.

But I am unable to see this status at online account. In my online account I am not able to see any section related to ITA.

    As per your post,
ITA and Documents Sent - 27th December 2017
Lodgement Date: 22nd December 2017 (as shown on INZ online)

Where exactly you are able to this information at your online account?

I am applying for a partnership-based residency visa so it might work a little differently, but my application arrived in Manukau on the 20th of November and I didn't receive any acknowledgement from INZ until the 12th of December.

I am unsure about this I can see mine says PENDING online. Unless we talking about different tracking systems I am unsure.

even mine shows pending as well. I can see all my other visas as well right from the start. I dont think, it has been discontinued.

You can probably still see what was the last thing entered there, because you had already had the link set up. INZ aren't going to do this for any new applications. Also, the fact that you can see "pending" now doesn't necessarily mean to say that anyone is going to alter that status. "Pending" means the same as saying "waiting for an outcome" - but you knew your case was in that state anyway.
