    Default lodgement in Sep 2017

    hello buddy,

does anyone know that the residency get approved by the time when lodged or case by case ? recently , i heard many cases got approved after public holiday ,but most of their cases were lodged in June or July. so i guess its lodgement date deciding approval time.

    is that right ? thanks

not at all . there are many variables and differences in each case. Some will require and take more time for verifications than others, some will need NSC others don't, some have medical or character issues and others don't. It simply better to observe that most (but not all) residence cases take 9-12 months from lodgment to decision

That is exactly the same for everybody - what happens, and how they feel about it. You're not alone.
