Default Do I still need to apply for my next work visa under this situation?

My current work visa will be expired by the end of March.
My resident application has been marked as `Approved` last week.

    1. Do I still need to apply for my next work visa?
    2. When could I consider myself as safe? Get the AIP letter or get the visa on my passport?

The reason I worried about this is that I've been told that this AIP and get visa on passport step could be very long, maybe more than a month.

    Thanks

You must have received the AIP letter and have lodged your passport with INZ for the issue of the residence visa (and met any other AIP requirements) , before the expiry date of your current visa. if you don't/can't, you'll need to lodge a new temporary visa application.

Thanks for the quick, very clear.

So when you say `lodged`, you mean like the AR for RV, there must a date online to show that they received my passport?
As long as this date is early than end of March, I'm fine, right?

received in the INZ mailroom with AIP conditions met, by the date your current visa expires
