Police certificate requirement for residence visa application

Dear all,

I am applying for SMC residence visa, which requires me to provide police certificate from all countries in which I have lived for 12 months or more in the last 10 years.

I lived in Singapore (which is not my home country) for about 2 years, from 2006 to April 2008, however considering the past 10 years (from 2008 up to now), I only lived in Singapore for 4 months, i.e from Jan to Apr 2008.

My concern is whether I need to obtain police certificate from Singapore? Anyone could explain, please?

From what you say yourself, you were only there for four months in the last ten years, so no certificate will be required.
