No Job Search Visa if I only got 145 points?

Hi Everyone,

I have lodged EOI without a job offer at 145 points. Does it mean I will not be granted a Job Search Visa?

I have planned a trip to Auckland around Easter for potential job interviews. But seem like I won't get any job interview if I don't have a job search visa. Is this true?

You currently need 160 points to be selected.
Whether or not you are able to get a job offer will depend on the employers view of your skills and whether they are able to fill the role locally. If they can fill the role they may look to recruit off shore.
