Default INZ Assesment flawed ICT Customer Support Officer

    Hello All,

    Hope you are doing good.

I just wanted to check if someone is with the same situation as mine?

Residency applied on Oct 2016 under ICT Customer Support Officer 313112 for an ISP.
    Declined on 5th May 2017
    Appeal lodged in June 2017
Appeal successful in early novermber 2017
Since then JUST SILENCE , no contact at all from INZ.

Have tried speaking with advisor and INZ numerous times , all they say is they are taking internal advise for all the people with same situation?

If anyone knows anything or faced anything as such please share , that would be appreciated.

Still waiting for more than 17 months now :-(

    Thanks,

    Anzi

From what was said at the time about your appeal and others, there had been quite a lot of mishandling of applications from people with your job. It's likely that there is a large amount of work going on behind the scenes to reassess those cases - you're probably in (a different kind of) INZ queue to be sorted out.

That's just my guess - I haven't seen any public pronouncement about this. It must be very frustrating for you. Good luck.

    Thanks for the reply JandM.

Indeed its frustrating and taking the longest test of patience in my entire life.

For a Flawed approach of such kind , a considerate amount of timeframe or a priority should be given to these cases at least to conclude the assessment regardless of the decision being positive or negative, but all we expect is a fair approach in a reasonable time frame that's what IPT states as well in their guidelines , however INZ has still since past 4 5 months after successful appeal not given any update or a tentative time frame , which is really sad and frustrating!! :-(

Its not just an application its actually an individual's life , he/she suffers mentally and financially a lot for such time taken by one of the biggest government bodies in NZ.

    However nothing can be done.

I hope at least a tentative time frame is given by INZ :-(

    Regards,
    Anzi

I just saw this news yesterday. It's really upset.

My case is still in the reassement as well. No further detail and update from INZ. By the way, in my case, it wasn't the same as the above.

May I ask why you get declined?

    No... It was INZ's fault.

I got the IPT result from my solicitor. She scaned the physical copy for me.
