Default Health insurance for Domestic student visa child

    Dear guys,

I want to ask whether the "Zero Fees for Under-13s" is applied for my child's case.
He has a "domestic student" visa, and he is going to be 6 in the next few months.

(we - the parent - stay in NZ less than 2 years under a fee-paying student visa and a work visa)

    Thank you

No. Your eligibility determines his. http://www.health.govt.nz/new-zealan...ars-or-younger Now he is about to be 6, he will have grown out of his eligibility for the Well Child programme, also.

    Thank you for your info.
We even did not know about the well child program.

Now we understand that we can only rely on Commercial medical insurance.
