Income threshold for EOI submission ?
Hi all,
I'm currently in the process of submitting my EOI for my partner and I (both Bar Managers - Skilled Work Level 2), I'm from the US, he's from the UK and I keep hearing conflicting information from the immigration hotline and from other friends in similar situations. We are apply for a Skilled Migrant Residency Visa.
In order to get the 80 points and him the 20 points, do we both need to be making the new threshold of $24.29 to actually receive the points? I'm currently pregnant and I've dropped my hours so my annual income has dropped significantly so I don't meet the annual threshold as well.
Any help or insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Viktoria & Ryan

To be considered skilled employment, the principal applicants needs to earn at least $24.29 per hour.
if there is also a claim for partners skilled employment points then that employment must also be at $24.29 per hour or above
Employment for both of you needs to be for 30 hours per week or more to meet other requirements of skilled employment
