    Default lost job - essential skills visa

    Hi,

    I just lost my job (i'm here on a essential skills visa - valid until 2022), so currently on a interim visa. When I get a new job, can I still transfer my visa? Or do I need to fill in the forms for a totally new work visa?

    I'm also in the process of applying for residency. I'm in the EOI stage (have enoug points, but need to wait to be selected).

    I have not ever heard of an interim visa being given in your situation. Do you have paperwork to state that, or did someone at INZ say it?
