Default Partner Residence AKL + timeline

    Hey guys!
I've been scrolling through trying to find recent timelines for partner residence applying onshore but couldn't find much other than Kimmy haha.
In my case I applied to both Partner residence and partner work at the same time because I was running out of time.
This is my timeline so far:

16/03/18 Dropped off two big as folders at the Queen St branch. Applied to residence and work visa at the same time.
26/03 Emails Residence and work visa applications received.
29/03 Interim visa issued for my work visa application (PLEASE REMEMBER INTERIM VISAS AREN'T GRANTED WHEN APPLYING FOR RESIDENCE VISAS)
13/4 Email from CO asking for my birth certificate and my husband's fingerprints (some countries may require fingerprints for residence).
13/4 Received email from NZ post saying I had INZ docs on the way.
16/4 Received a few documents and a letter back asking us to fill out a few sections we left blank I'm the application form for residence.
    17/4 Submitted said forms.

    Anyone already in NZ waiting??

    Good luck 🍀

I guess that's not your CO on 13/4. It's probably a staff who is responsible for collecting documents.

    Hi Georginnes,

I'm also waiting on my Partner of a NZer Resident Visa.

I dropped off my folder at Queen Street on March 22nd 2018.
Received a first email on April 3rd saying application was received at Northern Region Documentation Branch.
Then another email on April 19th saying "item on its way".
The next morning, April 20, I received a package containing a receipt for the application fee, a few pages from the form we needed to fill in with "N/A" instead of blanks and many of the original documents I submitted, along with a letter saying the application was received March 22 but officially lodged on April 19th.
That same day I submitted the pages for the application form along with a few new pieces of evidence supporting our relationship, in an envelope at the Queen Street dropbox.
On April 20th I received another email saying my application was received at the Manukau branch.
Spoke to an immigration employee on the phone today who said my application is in the Manukau queue waiting to be assigned to a CO.

I am leaving on a trip on July 24th so crossing fingers for the visa to be approved before my departure...

    Good luck to you too

    Sonia

Hi all, just an update. Exactly 3 months since lodgement (23/01/2018), I am now assigned a case officer who is requesting for financial interdependence evidences due the 3rd of May. Will keep posted of any updates.

Hi Preet13 yes, latest bank statements and I include a letter outlining our financial interdependence (I did not include this earlier) and she also mentioned "Any other evidence to prove that you and your partner are currently living together in a genuine and stable relationship and have done so for the past 12 months or more." I can't think of anymore evidences :S
