Default SMC applied in march 2018

Hi JAMD or any other who has similar case can advise me please.
Why immigration taking so long on to give the decision on the application.
I applied on March 2018 everything mostly done in 6 months after 8 months that i got PPI which was totally irrelevant to my case i hired laywer for that paid them to clear that PPI when they got whole information regarding my case and they were about to reply my case changed new case said it was irrelevant and not fair to your client we disregard it.
After so long she start processing my case took 2 weeks and sent another PPI which was again bullshit point raised on my application regarding enployers sustainability and one other concern which was irrelevant to my case hired another Laywer paid them another big amount after 2 weeks my case is waiting for reallocation??
Whatís going on i donít no so frustrated itís been almost 13 months on my lodgement date still no decision??
Now what iím expecting another case officer will assign he/she will start processing again asking same information again third time and i have to hire another laywer to answer another irrelevant PPI.

    Thank you please advise

First, INZ have been struggling with huge backlogs since a surge of applications happened around last November, when they were already in the middle of re-organizing what offices would deal with which kind of cases. Basically, the whole situation for them is a nightmare of short staffing, and the officials who are there fighting through stacks of work as best they can, with more than usual resigning because of the pressures. So yes, things are all over the place for a lot of applicants' cases.

However, what has happened to you is obviously not right, and in your place, I would use the complaints/feedback option. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/cont...aint-about-inz
