Question Travel plans after obtaining NZ citizenship

The Immigration NZ website states during the application for NZ citizenship, they'd ask about the applicant's travel plans over the next 12 months. Provided that if the applicant successfully obtains citizenship, does that mean he/she is not allowed to move overseas within the next 12 months - even if he didn't originally intend to at the point of application?

One of the privilidges of NZ citizenship is that it allows you to obtain a NZ passport which might allow you to travel to counties more freely than you one might have.
The application requires you to declare that you have an intention to continue to reside in NZ.
So you can't expressly obtain NZ citizenship with the intent of living in , say Australia.
There's nothing though to prevent you undertaking any holiday travel you might want.
