Need recommendation for Auckland moving companies
Hi all, we finally bought a home and are looking for a moving company to move our stuff from CBD to North Shore. We don't have much stuff but we have a piano so would like to find a company which will take good care of my piano. Please let us know if you have any good recommendations or any bad experiences so that we know who to avoid. Thanks for your help!

When it comes to the piano, I recommend talking to a piano shop. Whilst they are big and solid, they do flex and at the very least it is likely to need tuning afterwards. If it is a good one, as a muso, I would say that you want it moved by a specialist piano mover and yes there are such people.
In regard to a moving company, the website No More Cowboys is a good site to check out. That's where we got our last movers from. Given people are more likely to go online to give a bad review, you should find something there. The other thing and equally good is to go to the community page on Facebook for the suburb you have moved to. You will be amazed at how many people are moving and because the people who answer you (not the moving companies themselves who will be biased) are your neighbours and will not want to give you a bad steer.
