Welsh speaking children in Auckland

Hello everyone!!!

We have an arrival date of end of August... very very excited but getting nervous and already starting to experience 'hiraeth' (sense of longing) for Wales. I was wondering/hoping that other Welsh-speaking families may have moved or are moving to Auckland area. I would be incredibly keen to meet up for chats/sgwrs!!!

We are Welsh speaking Dad, Girl (9) and Boy (7) and a learner Mum... Perhaps there are families who want to learn a little Welsh too?

A couple of years ago I went to a concert by the Auckland Welsh choir and met several welsh people there so maybe if you contacted them someone will probably know welsh connections in Auckland,just a thought.
