Approval!!

Our Essential Skills, Partner, and Student visas were all approved yesterday!!! Good for 5 years!!!



It's been a fourteen year process, all told - actively so for the last two years. We're planning to fly back in just a couple of weeks, once our container is all packed. We have a holiday home reserved for the first month, and will be looking for rentals while waiting for our STUFF. Hopefully we will luck into something pet-friendly so we can FINALLY have cats again!

We visited New Plymouth for the first time last week, and I can understand that you are quite happy to move there. Best of luck with the next steps i the process.
Regarding pet friendly rentals- in our experience (once in Dunedin, once here) it was not a huge issue getting the approval to have a cat, I assume having a dog is different.
