Can full time graduate IT position apply for SMC?

Hi All,

I have currently graduated and looked for a job. I was planning to apply for a graduate programme.
The programme offered a full-time position and a salary of $55k.
The programme is a Graduate IT developer position.

I would like to know if the job title affects the claim points when I apply for SMC under Skilled Employment and under "I've been offered work in an area of absolute skills shortage" ?

Before I came to NZ, I already have 3 years of work experience in IT field.

The job TITLE doesn't matter - an employer can call a job anything that makes sense within their organization. What INZ check is the description of responsibilities, comparing that with the description of whatever career under ANZSCO.

Glad to know that job title doesn't matter. As it was kinda worrying that job title might affect the application by making me a "less experience" while I actually have the required experience.
