    Question PARTNERSHIP BASE WORK/VISIT Help!!

hello everyone hope you all are doing great.
iam a newzeland permenant residant for 2 years my residency was applied on skilled migrant category.
i got married recently and iam looking for options to bring my wife to nz.
iam not thinking of applying for partnership based resident visa as we need to show 1 year of living together
in nz (which is not possible as iam applying my wife's visa from india).

So is it possible to apply a work visa based on my resident visa. she has 5 years of work experince in drug regulatory
affiars ( Does Drug regulatory officer comes under long term short skilled list does it help if her job title is in long term short skilled list ).

If not can we get a student visa based on partnership visa please help me with my case.
    thanks

This is a mistake. It requires evidence of 12 months' living together ANYWHERE. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...-visa#criteria

If you and your wife have not yet lived together for 12 months, but HAVE evidence that you have lived together for two to three months (also anywhere in the world), you can apply for a partner-sponsored work visa. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...lders#criteria (The regulations don't mention a particular period of time, but we know from experience that INZ take applications seriously with 2 - 3 months' good evidence.)

Partner-sponsored visas ONLY take account of the applicant's live-in relationship with a NZ citizen or resident: the applicant's qualifications or work experience have no effect on the application at all.

If your wife has the right qualifications and experience to meet the requirements for a work visa in her own right, for instance https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...-visa#criteria, she would need to have a job offer from a NZ employer. The fact that you, her husband, are a NZ PR, would not have any bearing on that kind of visa.

Likewise, if your wife wants to study in NZ, she would need to get the offer of a place on a suitable course and meet all the requirements for it. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...-visa#criteria I don't know if the fact of her marriage to a NZ PR would affect the financial requirements - any university or college will have a staff member responsible for foreign students' concerns, and that person will have experience of this kind of detail, so she should get in touch via their website for some advice. But again, your partnership would not help towards admission onto a course, or getting the visa.
