    Haha I thought I'll just join the January thread... hopefully things do get faster come December time...

    We're just preparing these days to submit an essential skills work visa application based on ITA for the primary applicant... Work visas expiring in three months. More keen to apply for ESV than not just in case... to buy more time to plan for next step. Planning for all outcomes!

    INZ said it to some of the LIAs, I was told!

    Mind you, I'd like a small donation for every time I've posted on this forum that nothing INZ ever says about timings is a promise.

    Today, after a call to NZ immigration, I came to know that case officer allocated to me on 31st May. But I didn't receive any email communication from CO so far.
    My lodgement date was 3rd December.

    Thanks for that. This means that the backlog is still growing. Now it takes 179 days from lodgement date to CO allocation.
