Thats old story. Each time we call they give us carrots.. The last time I called was clearly informed that till Jan nothing can be expected and even after no time frame for allocation of CO and completion of each case.

    We are in total darkness.

I called INZ today and was advised no change to my application and still waiting for allocation to CO. Couldn't give me any timeframes as to when this would likely be. I am 12 months waiting to be allocated CO on the 11th Dec.
I will not call now until end of Jan/start of Feb as I think it is highly unlikely there will be any change by then.

Thanks for your information. I just wonder why there are Jan/Feb applications around me allocated to CO?

Are they from priority queue category or general category applications?

General queue, one is marketing specialist, Feb AR, and others from Jan, non-prioritised applicants.

If I request my INZ file under OIA will it show the work done by CO on my application. The case officer was assigned on 14th of June and it is more than 6 six months now and I believe that my application have been put aside by the case officer. 3 months ago she requested some documents that too when I sent her the email for an update. Then after sending her the documents requested the did not acknowledged that she received the documents, in their System. Whenever I called INZ for the update they use to say that the CO has requested some Documents from me in September. But after few calls, one call centre officer contacted my CO and then she acknowledged that she have received the documents and is processing them. I have sent her the email for an update afterwards but she didn't respond. My lawyer has sent her the email for an update three weeks ago and she didn't respond to him either. Any suggestions on what should I do next? Thanks

This is guesswork... it seems likely that what they tell you would partly depend on what you ask. I did a search on the forum for OIA, and I don't see that anyone has mentioned asking to be told what their CO has done. If there's someone out there who has put that particular question, can you let us know, please?

Your experience sounds like yet another example of what is being talked about in the article linked to in this post. https://www.enz.org/forum/showthread...338#post586338

Also what Erin had said a group of LIAs are drawing up complaints about. Maybe worth a read of and inclusion in this thread.

I can't be sure whether all the CO's notes will be released to you, but I think it's worth a try to make an OIA request. You have a right to know what's going on with your case and it's very unusual for processing to be taking as long as it commonly appears to be lately. Just be aware the OIA requests can take several weeks to come through (up to 5+ weeks in my experience recently) and there's no guarantee that a CO's notes will be releasable under OIA.
