If an applicant is COVID vaccinated, so can this put applicant on priority queue?
No offshore applications are being processed for any reason.

    Hi Guarav,

Are you offshore SMC skilled migrant visa applicant?
If yes, How come your application hasn't assigned to a case officer while border was opened before Mar 20.
Before March 20, we heard that the case officer assigned to the SMC applications which lodged on 14th Dec 2018.

Have you received any emails according to the latest INZ updates?

    Thanks!

    Processing timeframes
As a result of the 2020 COVID-19 border restrictions, offshore visa application processing was placed on hold. During this time we reported on the number of skilled residence applications in the offshore and onshore general queue separately.

Now application processing for applicants outside of New Zealand has started again, the skilled residence general queue now includes onshore and offshore applications.

As of 14 February 2022, the oldest application in the skilled residence general queue was received on 14 December 2018.

Total number of unallocated skilled residence applications as of 14 February 2022 (updated fortnightly)
    Queue Number of applications
    General Queue 8,664
    Priority Queue 831
