Minister of Immigration has told INZ he wants processing of SMC applications sped up.....the first glimmer of hope in a long time that this issue is finally on the Minister's radar and we might see some positive action soon?!?

Thanks for posting Erin - I still need to listen to this, but if you think there's a glimmer of hope, I will believe you!

I remember someone here posting a link to calculate those graphs ourselves, but I didn't bookmark this link.

Does anyone still has the link to be able to create those graphs?

The residence on hand applications for skilled graph looks incredibly scary.

The "Migration Data Explorer" can be used to filter data as per one's own interests.

    1. Does INZ received a huge amount of applications in Dec 2018?
    No

    2. Can I find what occupations are approved ( regarding smc)?
    Yes
    Use Migration Date Explorer,
    1. Data set: RV4 Residence Occupations
    2. Time Period: Monthly
    3. Variables: Decision Type+Occupation
    4. Filters--Add a new filter -- application criteria ( skilled migrant )

One will find all the recent approval information ( registered nurses, teachers, etc, approved mostly likely due to priority assessment)

    Found it!

Everything regarding my duties. They say that my duties don't match with ANZSCO code 411715. And it is hard to prove the same. Not sure what to do at this stage. Will seek some professional help.

update by INZ on their website. I think it is the result of applicants contacting Ombudsman and complaints to INZ
