Default Offshore SMC - 2019 Updates

Noticed that offshore SMC applicants are spread across the forum and not getting clear information on latest timeline, updates/issues and hence created this new thread for offshore SMC applicants who are waiting very patiently during entire VISA process with lot of hope 🙏

Requesting all waiting offshore SMC applicants in Year 2019 (also who applied in late 2018) to post their timelines, issues, questions etc and keep faith while hanging out with similar situation members and give support to each other! We never know, our bond could grow further in NZ once we meet there, at the end of the VISA process and help each other!

    Here are my details-

    EOI Selected: 19/09/2018
    Points Claimed: 165
    Applied from: USA
    Job Offer: No
    Branch: Manukau
    ITA Received: 21/09/2018
    ITA Submitted: 29/10/2018
    ITA Lodged: 29/10/2018
    ITA Ack/Fee Deducted: 12/11/2018
CO Assigned: Not yet (expecting around early March-2019)

Good luck everyone and god bless 🙏

I am still awaiting decision. Visa category is SMC Offshore. Here is my timeline.

    EOI Filed: 11 April 2018
    EOI Selected: 18 April 2018
    EOI Submitted: 16 July 2018
    Fee Deducted: 30 July 2018
CO assigned and requested more evidence: 30th October 2018
Sent evidence by email: 4th Nov 2018
CO received evidence by courier: 20 Nov 2018
CO requested more evidences for work: 4 Dec 2018
Provided requested info: 5 Dec 2018
CO confirmed that they are still accessing my skilled experience: 07 Jan 2019

Running out of patience. Not sure how much more time it will take. Seems like they process Onshore applications much faster.

Thank you for sharing and wishing you good luck and hoping that you’ll hear positive update soon 🤞

    Few questions-
    1. With or without job offer? You are from IT?
    2. What kind of documents requested by CO as you have been asked couple of times, so just curious, as it adds further delay to already stretched waiting time...

    Hold on tight!

I see light at the end of the tunnel now. My CO advised that our case is in 2PC now. It usually takes 2 weeks, please suggest.
