Default Partnership work visa for my partner has been approved!

    Timeline:

January 22, 2019 - submitted application with evidence online
January 25, 2019 - We received an email stating that the application has been approved in the letter and was given a new expiry date.

The approval was so fast I still can't believe it.

    Just a couple of question:
    1. We have not had an immigration officer. We just received a letter of approval. Is this normal for immigration now?
    2. How can we have a physical label if not a single immigration officer contacted us regarding our application?
    3. In applying work, usually they scan the visa label on the passport. How can we use the e-visa for this? Im just a little confuse.

For everyone who have helped us, Thank you very much.

You DID have a CO who worked your case. It's just that s/he didn't have any need to contact you. Your evidence must have been very complete.
    2. How can we have a physical label if not a single immigration officer contacted us regarding our application?
INZ aren't issuing visas as labels in passports routinely any more. You get an eVisa, and a letter that you have to carry with your passport at all times. (This just means that your entitlement is recorded in the INZ computer, and can be checked by contacting them.) https://www.immigration.govt.nz/abou...-online/evisas If you want a visa label, you have to pay a fee and apply for it separately.
    3. In applying work, usually they scan the visa label on the passport. How can we use the e-visa for this? Im just a little confuse.
See last reply, and the link, and what INZ has sent you.

    Thanks for everyone.

Here are the evidence we provided.

    1. History of our relationship
    2. Timeline of the time my partner is here in New Zealand
    3. For proof of living together and stable relationship we provided the following:
    a. Bills for electricity
    b. Bills for telephone and internet
    c. Hotel bookings
    d. Post cards set to us from abroad
    e. Online orders as well
    f. Joint insurance and Joint bank account
    g. Any club membership
    h. Photos together
    i. Letters from friend and families
    j. Conversation like text messages or any sort of chat history

Basically it was the same as the other thread where they post their proofs. We just focus of presentation and make it as organized as possible to make it easier for C.O
