Ours was with 2pc for 2 weeks the first time, we got told by the call centre that was about standard time but it might be more, might be less. Bang on 2 weeks it went back to our co for more questions. Second time round we got confirmation on Thursday if was back to 2pc and approved Friday. Got the aip letter on Monday, sent our passports in the afternoon and today got the visas and passports back.

The timeframes regarding how long the process is taking once allocated can be vastly different and all comes down to the calibre and competence of the Immigration Officer your application is assigned to, unfortunately. Some Immigration Officers are great and communicate well and process efficiently. Others are slow, arrogant, incompetent and overall unprofessional. It really is a lottery when it comes to having your file allocated, I'm afraid.
